Terryann Salmon, Registered Nurse, is an expert in the care of patients with procedures in the Interventional Radiology Department. Terryann, a silent expert who works behind the scenes to support every patient, every family, every nurse, and every physician. With the rapid growth of Interventional Radiology procedures, Terryann's patients need information that provides comfort for those undergoing very complicated procedures. Terryann uses a language of caring with simple terms to give the patient the best understanding. The patient education given by Terryann offers support and calms the patient. Terryann no only is an expert for the patient, she also is the expert preceptor for all the nurses that join the team. During the pandemic, Terryann stepped up to provide the best care, regardless of the staffing challenges. Terryann is a DAISY NURSE nominated by her teammates and by her patients.
