Tessa is an amazing nurse!! She has a positive attitude that shines so brightly you can see her smile even under her mask. Her clinical competence is outstanding - so much so that she trains new nurses and checks off their competencies all while managing our very busy patient load. She is kind and patient with parents of new babies with questions and supportive of all of our parents in their care of their children whether sick or well.

With over 10 years of experience in the NICU, she is an expert at feeding babies and will take the time to teach our parents when their babies are having difficulty taking a bottle. Our patients LOVE her!! We have some children who come in for an appointment and their parents will tell us that they were so excited to get to see Ms. Tessa today! And they know she is the one who gives them shots!! Many know her by her first name and feel like they are talking to a friend whenever they call and need advice or an appointment.

As a physician, I could not ask for a better partner in the care of our patients. She is very smart, remembers our different patients' unique needs, and will anticipate needs to maintain a nice flow to our often very busy days. She never has anything but a positive response when asked to do something for one of our patients. I look forward to working with her every day!
