Tessa exemplifies excellence, compassion, strength, and dedication. Healthcare is in a state of disarray. The emergency department, on any given day, is splitting at the seams. Tessa is our triage nurse and continues to have an outstanding attitude, and incredible clinical judgment, and strives to give every patient an amazing experience despite long wait times.

Tessa manages a lobby of greater than 20 patients with grace and skill. She knows each and every patient and she works diligently to ensure quality, safe, and timely care. Tessa deserves this award; Mayo is a better entity with her here.
