We had a STEMI alerted called from the field. Our staff arrived in the cath lab and we were waiting for the physician to arrive. While our patient was in the ED waiting to be brought to the cath lab, Tessa got the patient prepped for us. She had him undressed in the correct gown with an ETCO2 nasal cannula and had a consent form filled out and signed by the patient. These are things that are rarely done before the patient gets to us. This helped us get our patient prepped for the procedure in a more timely and efficient manner which is a crucial thing for STEMI patients. Tessa works quickly and efficiently while still giving outstanding patient care in the ED. This has been a trying time for all of us in the medical field, especially with the Omicron COVID surge. Tessa's work ethic is amazing and extremely helpful for not only her patients and department but for other coworkers here at FHLE.​
