Thane came to get me, introducing himself and guiding me to the exam room. He informed me that the doctor would be sitting in as he reviewed my medical concerns and vitals so I would not have to repeat everything twice. I appreciated this because it made things quicker, easier for me, and I didn't have to worry that I was keeping them. They told me they were here for me, and not to worry about the time. Thane was so patient, understanding, and very professional, putting me at ease with his kind banter.
When Thane identified my fever, I felt very reassured. "Well, no wonder you weren't feeling well today, that is a sign your body is trying to fight an infection."
Both Thane and the doctor listened to my history, concerns, and the recall of events contributing to my illness. They did not rush me and were very thorough. I was never made to feel uncomfortable.
Thane reviewed the follow-up plan with me, advising me to go to the ER if my symptoms continued or worsened. I apologized again for arriving so late. Thane looked at me and said "what you came in for was very serious. You needed us. Do not worry about the time."
I did not want this exceptional care to go unnoticed. Thank you again for taking such good care of me.
