Thao sat by me in the chair and held my hand and said nothing but her silence spoke volumes about her caring and nurturing spirit. All this was done in the midst of her being overwhelmed with more patients than normal. It was an overwhelming experience to find out that I may not have been able to walk again. This young nurse exemplifies patience, kindness, empathy as well as dedication to her field of nursing. I experienced a woman who really is dedicated to ensuring that every patient she has felt cared for, understood, and sympathized with. Thank you, Nurse Thao!
