Thelma Geddis, RN

I would like to nominate Thelma Geddis, RN from the 3rd floor as a deserving recipient of the DAISY award. This nurse's clinical skill and especially her compassionate care exemplify the kind of nurse that patients, their families, and staff recognize as an outstanding role model. She consistently demonstrates the Department of Veterans Affairs' care values of integrity, commitment, advocacy, respect, and excellence.
She impressed me by listening to me and explaining procedures and guidelines for my care. The whole staff was very conscious, making sure that I fully understand what I was receiving. I appreciated my stay and felt that I was in good hands the entire time.
