One nurse deserves special praise and that is Theresa Aquino! At approximately 3:00 am after receiving T cells and IL-2, I watched Ms. Aquino bring an ice bag for my wife to limit the facial swelling. While kneeling at my wife's bedside, she held the bag to her face for about an hour. It would have been very easy for her to give the ice bag to either me or my wife to apply but she stayed with her calmly reassuring my dear wife. I had never witnessed such an act of care and compassion in my life! We want to fully thank her for her extraordinary act of kindness.
