Theresa Bowden is an exceptional educator in the College of Nursing. She is extremely knowledgeable in patient care for the pediatric population and demonstrates that through her teaching. Theresa treats all students with respect and kindness and is one of the most caring professors I have had. She welcomes questions, motivates students to strive for excellence, and encourages students professionally and personally. Her passion for healthcare shines through in her teaching, and she uses a variety of methods to ensure every student's needs are met. Theresa Bowden deserves this award for her dedication to the nursing program and to each individual student; she inspires the next generation of healthcare professionals and exemplifies how a nurse should act.
