Theresa Collins, RN

Theresa was assigned to a patient that was the victim of domestic abuse and assault. Theresa spent a great deal of time counseling them about the situation and how to escape the abuse cycle. Theresa educated them about programs and housing available to prevent them from reentering a bad situation. Theresa also washed and cleaned the patient's clothes from the attack and got the patient some food from outside the facility so they could have a good meal before discharge. Theresa has done as much as possible to help this patient escape the abusive relationship.
