Theresa came from practicing in two other states – Alaska and Alabama. She has adapted well to our NJ laws and our ways of practicing nursing in NJ quite well – eased right into it. The thing is she was a med surg nurse, without homecare experience. She has surpassed all the worries she had learning and adapting, with her excellent assessment skills, compassion, and knowledge, into our Home Care division in Cape May County. She is organized, she is prompt, and patients lover her. She communicates with her patients after all visits, checking on their status and well-being at times when not even necessary. She blends real well with all other nurses, therapists and staff. She is the first one to help us when we are in need, despite her heavy caseload and own personal life. We are so grateful that she has chosen to stay with us here at Cape VNA. She works long hours that are so very much appreciated.
