I am a retired nurse and was admitted for a total knee replacement. After surgery, the combination of anesthesia and pain meds caused a total shut down of my intestinal tract (ileus).
During the very stressful moments of onset, Theresa took total charge of the problem. She notified the doctor and secured orders. She gave me suppositories and placed a NG tube, then stayed by my side until I was stabilized. She was truly my angel. I knew that I would get through this.
She not only did her assigned duties, but made me feel safe and not alone.

Theresa was on duty over the weekend that I was a patient. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and so caring. We had a good time together. She deserves this award.
