Providing care as a resource manager at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center we see patients who experience multiple challenges that interfere with their healing. Today, I acknowledge a special nurse caring for a patient who is the sole caregiver to a family member at home. In the hospital, the patient was extremely stressed and unable to concentrate on healing due to worry for their loved one. To help ease the patient's worry and home care responsibilities, Theresa coordinated medical care for the patient's family member, allowing the patient to receive needed treatment with less stress and worry.
