Theresa is not only a nurse but a lactation specialist and an awesome and informative healthcare provider. She is all about care for the patient! I felt very cared for by Theresa, not only as a patient but as a woman and a new mother. I didn't even complain to her about pain, but she was so concerned about my pain levels and offering different pain management techniques to make sure I was comfortable. I felt like she really cared about how I was doing as a new mother. She was so attentive and full of great knowledge and information to help me as I transition on my journey home. She made sure I was completing all the paperwork I needed to complete before I get ready to go home and she is not even my discharge nurse. She noticed that I was missing things like the Journey Home folder and went and got it for me and even went over the packet inside of useful phone numbers and resources I could use when I go home. She also pointed out the important resource of filling out a worksheet for a free breast pump and made sure I knew about that. She gave me a sitz bath for me to try to help deal with the vaginal pain I have. Theresa is an extraordinary woman, human being, nurse. She is so informative, caring, attentive, such an action type go-getter of a nurse who really cares about the work she does and the people she cares for. I felt very blessed and fortunate to have Theresa as my care provider. Thank you so much Theresa.
