Theresa goes above and beyond every day and has for the past 22 years in the MICC. Every day she talks on the phone to patients, reassuring them and spending hours coordinating their ultrasounds, their appointments with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and working on prior authorizations and other insurance concerns to get patients and their unborn babies the best possible outcome.
One specific patient story is B and how her parents had a positive outcome with the grief and loss they felt when she passed at three days old. (Theresa, the doctors, and staff of MICC supported her through a difficult time, and now they are pregnant with another child and also passed "B's Law" to provide family leave benefits to city employees who lose a child.)
