As soon as the patient enters the pre-procedure area, she gains a sense of relief when Theresa King, Registered Nurse, introduces herself, explains in detail what will happen, provides comfort, calm, and a "smile under the mask". The patient immediately exhales and knows that she is safe thanks to Nurse Theresa. Theresa changed the entire experience to a positive, successful event. The patient wrote a letter to express the great care she received from Theresa. The patient's surgery was successful.
