When we first arrived, Theresa greeted my mother and my family with such a compassionate and caring manner. She made us feel my mom’s care was very important to her. She introduced us to her caregivers, and she also reassured us that she could help us. Theresa's compassionate care set the tone for her staff. She made sure my mom and our family were very much cared for. When she saw my mom needed assistance, even down to going to the rest room, she did not call on anyone else, she took the time to assist my mom herself, she was very patient. She doesn’t just say if I can help you, let us know, but she listens and remembers what we previously needed and acts ahead of time to show how she was listening to the needs of my mom and her family. Again, she sets the tone for the caring staff we had the pleasure to take care of our dear mom. She took time out of a busy day to check in to make sure my mom was doing ok, and if there was “anything” she needed. She even extended that concern to her family, who was present. My sister and I took turns staying with Mom, and we both had the same impression. She made her presence known, and it was always a joy to see her smiling face enter Mom’s room. It made us feel very confident our mom was in good hands.
