A patient stated, "Best nurse, good bedside manner, attentive." A family member commented, "This was my daughter's first baby. Theresa made her labor as comfortable and pain free as possible. She was kind, gentle, and caring. She also took the time to explain everything that was going on as the labor progressed and the baby born. She is a very special nurse and deserving of the Daisy Award." Theresa's co-worker wrote, "C-section was called, and the floor was very busy. Theresa had just finished putting away simulation equipment. She offered to stay and do the C-section. She continued to show the team spirit and recovered the patient while she was needed."
