Theresa deals with all of our clinic patients personally, educating them about the pre-admission process and about their surgery. Theresa has an incredible way of putting people at ease; she exemplifies human kindness. All our patients and their family members leave the clinic educated about the surgical process and comforted that they have dealt with a knowledgeable nurse. When patients return on their day of surgery, they always ask for Theresa. They just want to say hello and tell her what a wonderful job she has done.
Theresa maintains a positive, bright attitude no matter what the day may bring her. She can have twenty charts on her desk that need to be completed in her shift, yet she will still help coworkers with whatever they ask of her. She is self-directed and finds ways to improve the nursing process at Westgate frequently.
Theresa is such an asset to us at Westgate. She consistently goes above and beyond for our patients, physicians, and other staff members. The surgery schedule would not run as smoothly as it does without her.
