As the head of our son's care team, Theresa has proven time and time again to be not only one of the most knowledgeable nurses within the section but also a caring and considerate liaison between my wife and I and the rest of the nursing staff and doctors. Our son has been in NICU for over 5 months and during that time Theresa has consistently made our stay as stress-free as possible by explaining the procedures and medications affecting our son. She has also given us hands on instructions and personal experiences with our son which has proven to be most valuable in our bonding experience with him. In doing this, she has gotten us through the hardest of days with a sense of caring and understanding that I think most people would be unable to empathize with.
