Theresa Williamson, BSN, RN, was honored with the DAISY Award for her exceptional care and compassion during a challenging time for a family. After a patient suffered cardiac arrest and the situation became critical, Theresa demonstrated incredible empathy and attention to a 7-year-old child. Recognizing the child's needs, she took the time to personally gather coloring pages and drinks, creating a comforting environment amidst the chaos of the ICU. Her thoughtful actions helped provide a sense of normalcy and calm to the child in the midst of such an emotional situation.
