I wanted to nominate Therese Reynolds for The DAISY Nurse Leader Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication and commitment to the hospital during the ice storm. She worked tirelessly for over 16 hours on multiple days, ensuring our hospital supervisor team was supported and that our caregivers had a safe place to sleep. She is always going above and beyond to ensure our patients and teams are safe. In times of challenges and high-pressure situations, Therese remains calm and composed, inspiring confidence in her team. I wholeheartedly believe that Therese's dedication, leadership, and commitment to our community make her more than deserving of this award.
