Mrs. Parrott is the night shift charge nurse on my rotation. I have worked with her for many years and I have watched as she has grown into a confident, caring, helpful leader. She is one of the first ones to jump in and help a co-worker who is struggling. She keeps our rotation up to date on the latest information from our Nurse Manager. She is fair, competent and very knowledgeable. She stands up for us and listens to our needs and suggestions. She also takes excellent care of her patients and tries very hard to make their hospital stay as comfortable as possible. I have witnessed multiple times where she has gone above and beyond her duties to care for her patients. I am proud to call her my charge nurse as well as my dear friend.
