I would like to thank my nurse Tom. Because from what I noticed, he's considerate, kind, compassionate, a lovely sense of humor every time he comes into this room. He brings an uplifting energy with him. I have been in this hospital since Thursday. I was depressed, agitated, angry, and under stress emotionally.
Tom has made me laugh. He's easy to talk to. I am an introverted person. Tom is the first person in this hospital who has really reached out and crossed over the boundaries that I have been dealing with. He is an awesome nurse. I thank God that he sent an angel like Tom today. It is a good feeling to know that someone is concerned and makes sure your needs and comfort are met.
I think Tom is an awesome nurse, especially with this virus pandemic. Family members are scared to visit, friends are too. With Tom as my nurse today, I don't really miss my family. However, I will miss Tom as my nurse when his shift is over. Just thinking of it makes me want to cry, it is boring in here. I haven't really smiled much lately, today I am smiling.
