The daughter of the Veteran was appreciative of the care provided to her father in MICU by Tom and the rest of the MICU staff. The Veteran and family had spent several days in the intensive care unit. The daughter stated the following, "Tom has consistently served as an excellent RN for my dad, even when he isn't my dad's assigned nurse. My dad recognized Tom's voice even when he has days of confusion. Tom's demeanor is one that uplifts my dad and manifests his dignity."
