While they had me prepped and waiting for the doctor, I had started crying. Thomas came into the room and asked if I needed anything. I asked for a tissue. He calmed me down and played music that happened to be a band my late brother loved. The smallest thing meant a lot but made the biggest difference. Only Thomas noticed I had gotten emotional.
