I came to Valley Medical Center under very unfortunate circumstances; I had attempted to take my life. Nurse Thuy Nguyen stayed with me for the first 12 hours. Her caring, compassion and extraordinary warmth were remarkable. I appreciate her technical expertise as well, as she guided me through medical explanations of doctors' orders, lab results and thoroughly answered my questions within her professional expertise - deferring to doctors when appropriate.
Her healing touch and comforting words assisted me through a very traumatic time; very much above and beyond the call of duty. In my view, she characterized healing as a nurse in not just a physical, but emotional and spiritual way as well. I am grateful she touched my life.
