I am a 75-year-old female admitted for ongoing pain, nausea, and vomiting. From the very first day I met my nurse, Thuy Cao, she has gone above and beyond for my comfort and well-being. I had to undergo several tests that left me exhausted. At one point, I had two enemas' to prepare me, but they only worked a small bit. When I got back to my room, the enemas kicked in, and I bolted to the bathroom. Following right behind me was my nurse. She stayed with me through the entire episode and even cleaned me up after. This is a task that requires patience, ability, and compassion. Thuy had all of these skills and more. I don't know what I would have done without her. She was always there for me, giving me needed comfort, treatment, and support. She is a wonderful nurse!
