Tia's calm and uplifting demeanor made my mom feel like she was the only patient and her care was the most important thing.
My mom was admitted to ARMC through the ER and was extremely ill. After a few days, she was moved to the second floor where she met Tia. After days of frustration and confusion for mom, Tia turned it all around. She lights up a room when she walks in and within minutes had my mom and myself laughing. She was an advocate for my mom's care and without her persistently asking questions and helping the "new" doctor I am sure my mom would not have been going home today. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated to her work helping patients. We are in the middle of a pandemic and staff and resources are stretched to the limit, but you would never know it with this nurse; her calm and uplifting demeanor made my mom feel like she was the only patient and her care was the most important thing. I cannot thank her enough for the loving compassion she showed my family these past few days.
