Tia was simply incredible. Our 10-year-old is complex because of exposure to heroin in utero by his birth mom, autistic, and suffers from a mood disorder. Dropping him off at the Stress Center was traumatic for him and we have found that structure, staying calm, and compassion are best for his care. My wife and I carry his cross and the thought of leaving him in others' care was difficult. Tia rose to occasion, and provided him the exact care he needed. Individuals like Tia that have the knowledge and compassion to love a complex kid are simply admirable. The world needs more Tias and we thank God for her care while we took a week away from our son. Please let her know we are forever grateful for the care and love she showed our son.
