Tiara gave us comfort by keeping us informed of my girlfriend's care. She is very personable and kind.
I am 57 years old and have encountered many nurses in my life but not one like Tiara. She is so thorough, and I watched her multitask which many nurses must do but not like her. Most nurses need to be reminded a few times of the multiple requests made by multiple patients but not Tiara. She remembered every single request and even reminded me of things that I needed to discuss with the attending physician. On top of her efficiency, she has a great bedside manner. She is compassionate, kind, and sweet. I could go on and on but then I would run out of paper on what a great nurse she is.

I would like to say that everyone at TGH has been wonderful and caring however, Tiara went above and beyond. I was in so much pain this morning as well as feeling sorry for myself. Tiara just knew as soon as she saw me that I was in pain. Her kindness, I knew was truly from the heart. She not only reassured me with words, but she patted me on my shoulder. Just the touch of another person, made me feel like a real person and not just another patient, another number. She also took time in explaining everything I had to take a how they could make me feel. This true concern was overwhelming, and I was blessed to have her as my nurse.

This situation and story are why I truly believe that Tiara Garcia deserves this award. When I say that the personal care, conversations, and compassionate understanding Tiara had for my condition (undiagnosed yet), going above and beyond is an understatement. Without her help, guidance, and knowledge in helping me progress, this could have affected me and even place my work life in limbo. Thank you, Tiara, for making such a crucial impact on me in so many ways.

I so appreciate the exceptional care and attention given to my girlfriend during her recent stay at TGH. She constantly went above and beyond to make a difficult and uncomfortable situation better by communicating and being the liaison between L and the doctors. She gave us comfort by keeping us informed of her care. She is very personable and kind. She is one of the best nurses at TGH.

Ms. Garcia made sure that all my needs were fulfilled. She would always stop by just to make sure that I was doing ok throughout her shift. Tiara is the type of nurse that all nurses should strive to become. Well-mannered, kind, respectful, and courteous. Thank you for caring for me and for all the encouragement.
