Tierra Hampton, RN

My mother was involved in a serious car accident at age 79. She suffered a broken sternum, a broken nose, a broken pinky, and a fracture on her back. Due to her struggles with allergic reactions to many pain medications and severe difficulty breathing, she suffered anxiety as well. Tierra was beyond attentive, addressing every issue my mother encountered throughout her shift. She was a true patient advocate, addressing every concern with compassion and contacting each provider hour by hour as needed.

She went above and beyond, taking her time to address her anxiety, every need, and treated my mother with abundant respect, as my mother was a nurse for 47 years. She provided and advocated for her care needs as well, such as clean sheets, a gown, and bedside wipes to make her comfortable. She was so kind to provide me with warm shower caps and clean towels when I was trying to remove a great deal of blood from her hair. She was also so kind in providing emotional care needs when I could not be present, addressing and valuing her distress in the situation.

Seeing this level of care when she needed it the most, I will forever be grateful. She is an amazing clinician and, in addition, provides an exceptional level of care to her patients.
