I am a nurse in SICU and received a report from Tiffany. The patient she was sending to me had been down at home for multiple days, covered with feces, with multiple dogs in the house, and hundreds to thousands of maggots on and in her body. When the patient arrived in the ICU, it was obvious that the ED had spent a lot of time and care cleaning, bathing, cleansing, and ridding her of maggots and filth. The ED is fast-paced and busy, and that night, they were slammed, but Tiffany's decision to choose to clean this woman thoroughly was not only compassionate but also much appreciated by the ICU.
