Over the years, Tiffany has served in multiple roles at Nassau. In her current position, she has truly impacted her unit. She is kind, cooperative, and easy to work with. Her knowledge base is she will get it. Out of mutual respect, she works countless hours off the clock to get through multiple emails and texts from employees about their schedules or other work issues. They have implemented some tough initiatives put in place in the system, such as the staff grid. While this is a significant change in practice, this leader has worked hard to make it work. She constantly rounds the units, checks in with the staff, and does her due diligence to ensure staff is at the proper number. She has set up many learning opportunities at Nassau that were not in place prior, which is another way to help the staff here at Nassau on their road to professional development. Her weekly huddle updates keep everyone informed, helping them achieve better outcomes for themselves and the patients. As a nurse leader, she has extraordinary leadership skills, a great attitude, and outstanding ethical behavior, and her desire to make learning easy sums up what it means to be a DAISY Nurse Leader.
