Tiffany Douglas, RN

Tiffany is our Case Manager and no longer works as a bedside nurse but, she still has an impact on the patients on our unit. She goes above and beyond with the patients, listens to their stories, comforts them when they are upset, and provides hands-on care. Numerous times she has walked patients to the bathroom, stayed with them, and then assisted them back to bed. If she is talking to the patient when meals come, she assists them with setting up their trays. She has gone to another unit to get warm blankets and brought them back to a patient who was cold and covered them up.

One exceptional time that touched us was when we had a patient who was being discharged to rehab. This patient would not leave without clothes and shoes. Tiffany went and got him clothes from the clothes closet but there were no shoes for him. She left on her lunch break and went to Goodwill and purchased him shoes so that he would feel comfortable going to rehab. Tiffany is wonderful to the patients and Nurses who work on the unit she represents, we wanted to make sure that she knew what an impact she makes on the patients and their families!
