Tiffany left me with confidence that I was going to be ok, no matter what happened.
I suddenly went into labor with my twins at 24 weeks and was brought in by EMS. The first face I saw when I arrived on LDRP was Tiffany's. Previously, Tiffany worked in the cardiology office and was transferring to LDRP, and was assigned to train me to take her place. She looked at me with such sympathy and quickly jumped into action and assessed the situation.

My water had broken and the umbilical cord was exposed. Tiffany held the cord so that my babies would not be choked by it. She kept reassuring me the whole time, telling me that my babies were safe and that I would be ok. She held the cord as I was rushed into an emergency C-section and continued to stay calm and helped me feel as though I was in good hands.

After my surgery, Tiffany requested to do my surgical care, she was so gentle and sympathetic with every task. I was so sad when she had to leave the next morning. Tiffany left me with confidence that I was going to be ok, no matter what happened. She treated me with such love and respect. Her care and compassion set me up to handle the devastation of losing my babies two days later. She gave me strength to get through the worst experience of my life. She is the definition of an Extraordinary Nurse.
