Tiffany Foli, RN

My son was in a horrible car accident that caused major injuries to his brain. Tiffany found me praying in the hallway that evening, asking God to spare my son’s life. She then became our first nurse after his craniotomy. Tiffany has followed us through this sad journey here at Roanoke Memorial, and although we are in palliative care, she continues to show our whole family love and compassion that has helped us make it through. Tiffany was my son’s nurse more than anyone else while we fought to keep him alive. She saw us through and cared for him on his good days and his bad. Her undying support for our family during the hardest time we have ever faced will always be remembered. She worked tirelessly, even taking extra shifts to provide professional nursing care to my son. This is only one reason Tiffany should be awarded the Daisy Award. Her loving, caring, knowledgeable, and professional, yet silly personality is the picture of what nursing should look like. If nurses around the world took the time she does and provided the service she does, the entire medical team at Carillon Roanoke Memorial, and far beyond Roanoke, would shine. In short, Tiffany made this awful occasion better from the first day until the last. We love you, Tiffany! Keep shining; the world needs more of your light!
