My sister had been admitted to the CCU unit. She has been in that unit previously – she tends to get very sick when she’s unwell. This time, however, she wasn’t very sick but in that unit for observation for a medication she was receiving. She was concerned about her hair because it was matted in the back. Tiffany mentioned to her that they could provide hair services. Tiffany washed and conditioned my sister’s hair, removed all the tangles and unmatted her hair over 3 days. My sister told me that Tiffany was so kind, so gentle and so patient. That act of kindness was so appreciated and relieved my sister of unnecessary stress. I’m submitting this as a family member but I’m also an employee. I feel that this is such an uncertain and sad time for the health system but when I heard this story from my sister, it made my heart happy. How wonderful to have Tiffany as a fellow employee, still providing exceptional patient care.
