Tiffany LaCap, RN

I overheard Tiffany speaking with another patient, and that patient was homeless. I could tell that in the conversation. She asked Tiffany for toiletries to assist with cleaning herself up. Tiffany stated to her, "I'm not sure if I can assist, let me check." She came back and had a care package for that lady, and that melted my heart. It prompted me to dig into my purse, and I gave me what I could. So, I called the nurse over to my area and asked, "Hey, can I give you this for the lady as well?" The nurse smiled and looked in shock. And she, in fact, handed it to the lady and thanked me for helping. I told the nurse, "Don't ever let anyone change you. I know this job comes with stress, dealing with so many people a day, but always continue to be kind." You never know what a person is going through. In the world that we live in, we must take care of each other. Thank you.
