Tiffany consistently shows a caring attitude with her patients and their family members. She greets every situation with a smile and critically thinks to ensure that every guest on the floor is comfortable and well taken care of. Although she has patients of her own to care for, she is constantly asking newer nurses not "if" she can help them, but "what" can she help them with. She is humble and kind and a wonderful leader. She was the assigned charge nurse last week when one of our PCTs didn't show up as scheduled. Instead of having us tech our own patients, which would have been very difficult with the number we had, or making the remaining PCT take all 28 patients, she split the patients with her and stepped into a PCT role for the evening. She answered call lights and provided patient care, while still completing charge nurse duties so that we would not all be overwhelmed. She truly cares about others more than herself and personifies a servant's heart. She truly cares about everyone who spends time on our unit, whether they are patients, family members, or staff and shows through her actions.
