Tiffany is the definition of a compassionate caregiver. During a rapid response, Tiffany was an absolute angel! She immediately entered the patient’s room to assist in the response and recognized the primary nurse was working diligently to stabilize the patient. In the midst of the chaos, Tiffany noticed that the patient’s husband was in the corner of the room, unsure of what was going on. Tiffany knelt down beside him and took the time to explain to him in plain language exactly what was going on: to keep him informed and at ease. This was a critical part of the rapid response because as nurses we don’t just care for the patient but their family as well. Tiffany is thoughtful, caring, and a compassionate caregiver. She is truly a DAISY Nurse.
