Tiffany Mikits, RN
Tiffany was recognized by a patient's life partner for her constant source of care, compassion, and reassurance. The patient had some unexpected cardiac issues and Tiffany calmed both the patient and his life partner's fears, took extra time to answer their questions, and was very attentive to his cardiac issues.
The patient's life partner wrote, "Although he was not the only patient Tiffany was caring for that day - she made him feel like he was the most important person in that Emergency Department. Tiffany deserves to be recognized for her excellent nursing skills, her compassion for her patients, her kindness to the patient's families, and her exceptional representation of the hospital. She epitomizes what a nurse should be, especially in these unprecedented times we live in now."
