Tiffany is an exceptional nurse. She is always so kind, compassionate, and patient with the people she cares for, co-workers and team members. Her added role as a Resource Float Pool Nurse can be challenging, but she has embraced it and made rotating through all the ICUs and often multiple assignments during the day seem effortless.
Tiffany's greatest asset, besides her vast nursing knowledge, is her kind heart. She made J's last few weeks brighter and more pleasant with her care, smile, and grace. She often took care of J because of his daily dialysis needs, entering his room with a smile and encouragement every single time. Taking the time to patiently fluff his numerous pillows, positioning his head just right, elevating his hands appropriately, and making sure he could reach his bedside table, all this plus balancing his challenging medical needs. When it came time for comfort care, Tiffany gracefully supported his wife, C, and the rest of his family as well as J through one of life's toughest decisions. She artfully made sure that C and J had uninterrupted quiet time together, all the while balancing other family members' desires to share memories with J. Feeling their grief, she worked hard to neutralize his pain while spending those last few hours with his loved ones, staying overtime that day to usher J into his next stage in life and supporting his family.
I have worked with Tiffany for many years and am always so glad to have her on my team. J's story is just one example of Tiffany's work. She treats every patient as a person who needs extra TLC every day. I know that whatever patient assignment she gets will be well advocated for and receive the best care that Tiffany has to offer. Tiffany is a true role model and an exemplary nurse.
