I came in as close to death as I had ever been, and she was the light in my tunnel.

She spoke to me and treated me as a person at a time when I was full of questions, fear, and doubt. No matter how off-the-wall my questions may have sounded, she answered every one of them with honesty, compassion, and hope. You could see how much she genuinely cared.

She made me feel safe, protected, cared for, important, and comfortable during one of the most difficult times in my life. What began as a stranger helping me through a crisis became something much more. I now have the privilege of calling this amazing and beautiful person my friend.

She has inspired me in ways I cannot fully express. If I could become even half the person she is, I would consider myself incredibly blessed. "Thank you" does not come close to capturing the gratitude I feel for the kindness, love, and support she has brought into my life.

May God be with you in every part of your life. I wish a hundredfold of the joy you shared with me back to you and your beautiful family. I will never forget you. Keep being exactly who you are because, believe it or not, you were my God-sent person when I needed one most.

I am beyond grateful and blessed that our paths crossed. God bless you in everything you do. I will think of you often and thank God for you for the rest of my days.
