Tiffany served as Team Lead for Acute Care. A patient's daughter was getting married and the physician asked if there was a way to allow this patient to attend the wedding. He was too sick for discharge but wanted to be a part of this memorable occasion- a once in a lifetime moment that could never be recaptured.
Tiffany sprang into action. She made all of the necessary phone calls, advocating for the patient to be able to attend. She cleared with risk management, arranged for RTS to stay with the patient during the ceremony to ensure we were providing a safe level of care, and cleared with the administration.
Tiffany went above and beyond; relentless in her effort to make sure her patient did not miss his daughter's wedding. She always does what is right for the patient, advocating for them, and thinking outside the box to make it happen. She created a memory that this patient will never forget; truly making a difference in other's lives. Nursing is definitely her calling and it shows in her daily work.
