I was in the hospital for 4 full days with cellulitis. After spending the night, Tigist was my first dayshift nurse. I had Tigist the first two days and although all the nurses were great at their work here, Tigist stood out.
Tigist made me feel at ease and comfortable in the hospital. She was very attentive and checking in on me all the time. I loved her personality and her openness. She was a pleasure to be around and she worked great with the people around her.
With Tigist, I felt like I was in a five-star hotel. I would ask about certain tests and many other questions, she would answer or get an answer immediately. She made me feel like a special VIP.
Tigist had a difficult patient next to me and I would see her walk in with a smile and come back out with that same smile. I know that he received the same care I did. She is a remarkable nurse/woman and I think Valley Medical Center is lucky to have her.
