Tigist Michael, RN, BSN

Tigist was my mom's nurse. She is very gentle, kind, patient, and informative. She explains everything to Mom and family in detail before every event. Mom loves her bedside manner, stating, "She’s one of a kind." We requested her the second night, and the charge nurse was nice enough to assign her to us. Tigist asks Mom certain questions prior to performing her duties. For example, when going to administer insulin, she’s asking which arm she prefers. She's always checking to see if my mom needs anything and does not dismiss Mom's complaints. Her soft voice and patience instill confidence in the work she’s performing. No matter how busy, she'll reach out to the doctors when we have questions about Mom's care. She’s compassionate, kind, and a lovely human being. Providence is very lucky to have her working here. She upholds the hospital's mission in patient care. Tigist has the healer's touch.
