Tim is always clinically excellent and compassionate with his patients. He treats patients, visitors and staff with the utmost respect, but is also jovial and fun to work with. I love that he always asks the important questions when it comes to the delivery of the best care and best practices, safety of our work environment, and that he consistently suggests great improvements for patient care.

Earlier this year, I worked a shift with Tim where he accurately identified a patient with potential MERS respiratory viral syndrome, despite its rarity, and quickly initiated safety and isolation protocols to keep our staff safe from potential infection, while at the same time spending a significant amount of time caring for the patient, and making sure she understood her disease process and what we were worried about. He is also outstanding among his peers at calming the agitated patient, and making the care team feel confident even when the department is very busy! Tim is the BEST!
