My husband's father was brought into the Emergency Room. My husband and I were sitting in the Emergency Room waiting area and in walks Mr. Hall. Right off, you could tell Mr. Hall was a very caring and compassionate person. He explained everything that was going to happen during this evening.
My husband wanted his father to be comfortable. Mr. Hall saw to that. It was decided to move my husband's father to the Intensive Care Unit where, unfortunately, life support would be taken off. When we arrived, Mr. Hall was there greeting us and again, explaining to us what would be happening. The care and compassion this young man showed us, made an everlasting impression, not only on us but to all the visitors that arrived.
Before the procedure of removing life support began, Mr. Hall prayed with us. We were so blessed to have this young man with us during this life-changing event. In times like this, it seems everything just happens so quickly, but Mr. Hall gave us all the time we needed to say our last goodbyes. This young man was a true blessing during this time.
