Tim demonstrated clinical excellence in caring for a critically ill patient, he also ministered to the patient's family by answering questions and made sure their physical needs were met. The family was made to feel a part of the team caring for their beloved family member. Tim also took the time to speak to the patient about what was important to him and helped the patient find the words to share those feelings with his family. Ultimately the patient was able to share his wishes with his family and they supported his decision to be discharged to home with Hospice care.
